You asked for builders who will wire a sensor, flash firmware, or ship production code. Who read a messy CSV and think instrument, automate, optimize. Who do not wait for perfect specs. Silicon Valley turned its back on the American worker. Palantir is putting tools back in his hands. I am that worker — twenty years on live plants, then two years rebuilding on Docker, WSL, Python, and agents that log a number before they claim it. This fellowship is 12 weeks of Foundry and AIP, two weeknights, 5–10 hours, Ontologize, professional certification. I will treat it like a deployment, not a class: hear the floor, wrangle what exists, ship a surface someone can still run on Tuesday, measure after. Palantir is a software provider, not a data broker. I have spent twenty years inside other people’s plant data and left it theirs. I want the bleeding edge of that stack, then the door behind the certification.

You asked for four years solving real problems on a factory floor, field service, or garage. I have twenty. Cargill oils plants: business analyst overseeing plant ERP implementation, 24/7 across 20+ warehouses/ODS. Horizon Milling: time-dimension production visibility so accounting could see the floor — CFO Award 2005, six per year. Dawn Foods: PowerExchange on AS/400 remote journals, warehouse load eight hours to under one, featured because they used it. Micron: connected fabs with PowerExchange CDC off SQL Server, Fast Clone, and Big Data Edition into Teradata/Hadoop. They kept extending the work. Consultant of the Year runner-up 2016. The constraint lives on the floor. The board only sees it if you bring it up.

Garage shop · fireworks

Secret Key Class B shooter. Fireworks Forever, St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, 1996–2005: inventory manager, weekends and school. $800K+ seasonal inventory, turnover under three months, no second take on a live show. Four full-time sales. Profit up six years. You asked for garage-shop builders who automate a physical process. I ran the show and the stock. Then I put an RTX 4070 in the garage and measured decode the same way I measured a warehouse load: baseline, bottleneck, after. Customer satisfaction is worthless. Customer loyalty is priceless. That line was forged here, then spent on Fortune-100 platforms.

Four isolated Python agents on local Ollama — Systems, Architect, Synthesis, Validator — Pydantic JSON, self-heal until the contract passes. TypeScript for the packet you are reading. I taught myself the new stack the same way I learned the plants — by shipping, then writing down what actually moved.

Messy CSV · no perfect specs

AS/400 journals. SOAP that never matched the WSDL. Unofficial definition of a good part. Four-region Grid with CIFS → GFS live. Demantra demand planning — Quarterly Award for Excellence, Oct 2006, separate from the oils ERP. An unnamed customer would not buy PowerCenter and Data Quality from a vendor VM, so I installed it on their metal, smoked it, ran their use cases, and the deal closed immediately after. You want someone who reads the mess and instruments it instead of waiting for a clean ontology. That is the job. Perfect specs never arrived on any floor I kept.

Written operating path

Environment Summary — owner and date on the cover, utilization first. Upgrade Roadmap. Phase review. v10 test deck. Farmers Phase 2: Guidewire XML, 30+ repos as domain risk, skill-up named. Mercedes-Benz Financial: cache in RAM, 20–30% off job runtime, cheat sheet left with the team. Northwestern Mutual: P1, GCS escalation, QA twin of production. Waddell & Reed v9→v10: measured I/O wait, UNC is not HA. Knowledge transfer is a deliverable. Hire two starts on page 4, not Slack. The floor playbook.

Hardware / firmware / PLC — honest

I will not fake Verilog or ladder logic. I will wire, flash, and learn whatever the plant needs. Palantir asked for hunger, not a fake FPGA resume. I have Linux, Git, containers, production Python, twenty years of physical operations, and a garage GPU I actually measured. The rest I will take from Ontologize and the floor. Foundry and AIP in the hands of someone who already knows what a night operator will do when the spec is wrong — that is the fellow this program was designed to arm.
