AI Deployment Manager · United States · Remote

Shipping AI is half the story. Deploying it is the job.

You wrote the only honest sentence in this category. Shipping the model is a press release. Deploying it so a human being still uses it on Tuesday — against unprepared data, in a live customer environment, with a number the customer signed — is the work. I have been that person for twenty years. Informatica called it IPS / SEAL. Cresta calls it AI Deployment Manager. The motion is the same: embed, launch, coach, leave a path the next site can run without me on Slack.

Cresta turns every conversation into a competitive advantage — conversational agents, real-time human augmentation, conversation intelligence — for United, Cox, Marriott. I have not worn your badge. I have already owned the moment your posting describes: ambitious software, a live enterprise that was not ready for it, humans who have to use it after I fly out, metrics the customer will defend, a team that can scale the next wave. Contact-center AI is a new logo on work I already own. Remote United States. Available. High-autonomy only.

01 — About the role

Own the moment cutting-edge AI becomes real-world results.

End-to-end customer deployments

You asked the Deployment Manager to own the moment cutting-edge AI becomes real-world results. Navy Federal: architecture through go-live training, a 3,000-hour V1 with Informatica RMO plus their HR, naming standards written so they could operate it. Harvard Version 9: resource plan through post-production hypercare, not just the cutover, including the Solaris 8.1.1 offload. Micron: a resourcing plan that grew from 2,080 hours to 7,000 across PowerExchange, PowerCenter, Fast Clone, and Big Data — on time, extensions, zero downtime. I do not throw a model over a wall. I sit in the room until it runs, and I write the path the next person uses when I am not in the room.

Adopted, not installed

Cresta’s success line is AI that actually gets used. Mercedes-Benz: longest workflows +200%, and TCS kept the performance-tuning path after I left — that is adoption, not a demo they clapped for once. Dawn Foods: warehouse load eight hours to under one on PowerExchange CDC against AS/400 remote journals, featured on informatica.com because the warehouse still ran it. If the agent does not use the copilot on Tuesday, it did not launch. A CSAT survey is customer satisfaction. Tuesday is customer loyalty.

Clarity inside complexity

Product, engineering, and GTM have to be able to lean on this seat. Bank of New York Mellon Grid/HA sat senior VPs and Informatica CEO Sohaib Abbasi in the room — sales, services, and support north of $2.3 million and growing. Kohl’s was not a logo: Informatica v9 Grid/HA capacity and upgrade, target architecture on commodity (Cisco or IBM) and the cutover off AIX, current volumes plus a three-year growth curve, briefed through Senior VPs, about $2 million in software, proofs of concept on their data when the vendor VMs were not enough. Environment Summaries, Upgrade Roadmaps, Phase reviews, a v10 test deck. Internal teams get a written operating path, not a Slack thread.

Ready to scale

Leave them confident to scale. Skill-up is named in the write-up — Farmers called Developer tool and Advanced XML. Walked loads. QA twin of production at Northwestern Mutual. Playbooks so the next site is cheaper than the last. Cresta’s hypercare is my default, not a phase I skip so I can chase the next logo. Harvard’s resource plan ran through post-production on purpose. If hire two cannot start on page 4, I founded a hero week, not a function.

02 — What success looks like. Evidence, not adjectives.

Your five lines. My receipts.

01 · Used

AI that actually gets used

Nineteen of twenty crisis accounts recovered. West Bend Mutual: live SOAP/XML quote path cut in half — agents on the phone actually felt it. Dawn’s warehouse still ran the one-hour load. If humans do not run it after I leave, I installed software. I did not finish.

02 · On time

Smooth. On time. Against metrics.

PepsiCo v9→v10 across NA/LATAM with zero data loss. Micron on time with zero downtime while the hour count grew. Dawn 8h→1h. Volkswagen Group of America: complete Grid/HA in two weeks — bonded dual NIC, Oracle RAC on InfiniBand, three 8-core PowerCenter servers — live demo a day early while a parallel DQ implementation burned on the other side of the building. Numbers the customer signed, not a vibe.

03 · Confident

Leave them ready to scale

Coaching is named in the deliverable, not implied. Farmers skill-up. Navy Federal go-live / business-acceptance tests written down. Four Volkswagen consultants shadowed the two-week install and took notes so they could run the next one. The team can run the next wave without me in the chair. That is the only definition of done I will defend.

04 · Clarity

Product, eng, GTM can lean on you

About fifteen percent of IPS time was writing statements of work with regional managers — full contract wording, resource levels from analyst through principal, estimates and assumptions. Center of Excellence evaluations and field notes back into product. At JPMorgan Chase we reached the final two proposals on an enterprise data-warehouse / CoE roadmap. We did not close. I will not write that as a $10 million win. I bring the pattern back so engineering does not guess what the floor needs.

05 · Momentum

Complexity into forward progress

A Milwaukee insurer had been dark for three months. We closed it in two days. The cause was one IBM DB2 driver setting buried in IBM documentation. Read the evidence before you touch the config. Then move. Cresta’s Deployment Manager is that diagnostic, pointed at live CX: conversation intelligence is a new surface on an old habit — measure the bottleneck before you add more agents, human or AI.

03 — Qualifications you value

Every line in the posting. Answered.

Implement

Technical / AI-driven SaaS implementations

+
Informatica IPS / SEAL was the consultative implementation model: embed, launch, playbook, repeat. Last 24 months the same motion on a published local AI stack — TabbyAPI/EXL3, Ollama, bounded MCP so agents see Docker without host-root, four isolated Python agents handing Pydantic JSON on an RTX 4070 under WSL2. I have not faked a Cresta badge. I have already done the job Cresta is hiring: make advanced software live in an enterprise that was not ready for it, then leave a team that still runs it on Tuesday.
PM + consult

Project management with a customer-first mindset

+
Consulting Manager. Teams of 7–14. 3,000-hour Navy Federal V1. 7,000-hour Micron. Clients asked for me by name. “Rock star.” “One of the best Informatica has to offer.” Loyalty is the metric, not a CSAT survey they forget.
Data

Comfort with technical concepts, data, and analytics

+
Grid/HA, PowerExchange CDC, thread statistics, I/O wait, decode tokens per second logged in SQLite. Conversation intelligence is a new surface on an old habit: measure the bottleneck before you add more agents — human or AI. West Bend’s quote path did not get faster because we added people. It got faster because we measured SOAP/XML runtime and removed the wait. Same diagnostic Cresta will need when an agent is “slow” and the floor is actually waiting on a definition nobody wrote down.
Translate

Complex technology into clear, actionable plans

+
Environment Summary. Upgrade Roadmap. Phase review. v10 test deck. Farmers, Mercedes-Benz Financial, Northwestern Mutual, Waddell & Reed. Public: the Cresta deployment playbook. Internal teams get a written path. Customers get a go-live they can defend.
Own

Bias toward execution, outcomes, ownership

+
20 troubled accounts entered. 19 recovered. I still parachute. Cresta’s own line: deploying it successfully is where the real impact happens. That is not a personality test. That is the résumé.
Pace

Thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments

+
Informatica SEAL during the Grid/HA years. Stanford-born Cresta, $270M+, Ping Wu’s contact-center AI thesis — I want that velocity pointed at live CX. Remote US. Available. High-autonomy only.

05 — Asked for by name

Customer loyalty is the product after the product.

Cresta’s site says it: drive customer loyalty. I gave that talk at Informatica while I was still embedded at Dawn Foods in Jackson, Michigan. Satisfaction is the lowest acceptable service — Bank of America chose policy, I left, and I took the word of mouth. Loyalty is a number they still quote — Dawn’s warehouse, John’s four daughters, Trillium told no over lunch. Read the talk here. That is the product Cresta sells, named twenty years early.

“His knowledge not only of the Informatica suite but also at the operating system level has been truly invaluable.”

Dawn Foods · client

“He’s a rock star out at Dawn. The customer loves him and the sales team has been leaning on him hard.”

Informatica IPS · sales

“You have sent one of the best that Informatica has to offer in Jeremy.”

MF Global · infrastructure

“I trusted that Jeremy would deliver, with quality… exceeded the expectations at someone of his grade level.”

Hiring team — Cresta
AI Deployment Manager · United States · Remote

You wrote the only honest sentence in this category: shipping AI is half the story. Deploying it successfully is where the real impact happens. That is the only work I have done for twenty years.

Cresta unlocks the customer experience — conversational agents, real-time human augmentation, conversation intelligence — for United, Cox, Marriott. I have not worn your badge. I have already owned the moment your posting describes: ambitious software, live enterprise, humans who have to use it on Tuesday, metrics the customer signed, a team that can scale after I fly out.

Informatica used me as the parachute closer. 19 of 20 crisis accounts recovered. Dawn Foods warehouse loads 8 hours to under 1 — featured because it got used. Mercedes +200% on the longest workflows; TCS kept the playbook. West Bend live quote path cut in half. Navy Federal from architecture through go-live training. PepsiCo v9→v10 with zero data loss. Last 24 months I ran that same loop on a private RTX 4070: measured agents, bounded MCP, published stack. Models accelerate. Adoption still decides whether they land.

Your success lines are my operating path. Launch so it gets used. Hit the date and the metric. Leave them confident. Give product, eng, and GTM a written plan. Turn complexity into forward progress. The artifacts are public: environment summaries, upgrade roadmaps, the Dawn Foods loyalty talk. Customer satisfaction is worthless. Customer loyalty is priceless. That is not a slogan on my site. That is the talk I gave while still embedded on the floor — and it is the product Cresta sells.

Remote US. Available. High-autonomy teams only. If you want the person who owns the deploy, I am ready.
