The motion is the same: sit with the operators until the real constraint is named, wrangle what exists instead of waiting for a clean ontology, ship a surface the night shift still runs, brief the board on the same facts.

Manufacturers, fabs, bakeries, lines, and C-suites. Last 24 months I rebuilt the stack on a private RTX 4070 so the same diagnostic runs on agents — measured GPU routing, four isolated Python processes, bounded MCP, no host-root. U.S. person. Factory floor

Dawn Foods: PowerExchange CDC on AS/400 remote journals, warehouse load eight hours to under one, featured because the warehouse still ran it. Micron fab sites: 2,080 → 7,000 hours, PowerExchange, PowerCenter, Fast Clone, Big Data, zero downtime. Mercedes-Benz: longest workflows +200%, TCS kept the path. Toyota Engine Management go-live, every consultant 5/5. PepsiCo NA/LATAM v9→v10, zero data loss. Cargill oils plants — business analyst overseeing plant ERP implementation. Horizon Milling: time-dimension production visibility so accounting could see the floor, CFO Award 2005. The data is never clean. The line does not wait. Warp Speed is that sentence with Foundry and AIP in the hands.

Board room

Bank of New York Mellon Grid/HA with senior VPs and Informatica CEO Sohaib Abbasi in the room — sales, services, support north of $2.3 million and growing. Kohl’s: Informatica v9 Grid/HA capacity and upgrade, target architecture on commodity (Cisco or IBM) and the cutover off AIX, current volumes plus a three-year growth curve, briefed through Senior VPs, about $2 million in software, proofs of concept on their data when vendor VMs were not enough. JPMorgan Chase: enterprise data-warehouse and Center of Excellence roadmaps with sales, regional managers, and IPS VPs. We reached the final two proposals. We did not close. I will not write that as a $10 million win. I can sit with a plant manager at 6 a.m. and an exec at 4 p.m. without changing dialects. Same facts. Two rooms.

Pain threshold

Twenty troubled accounts entered. Nineteen recovered. A Milwaukee insurer sat dark for three months; we closed it in two days on one IBM DB2 driver setting buried in IBM documentation. Volkswagen Group of America wanted the complete Grid/HA stack in two weeks — bonded dual NIC, Oracle RAC on InfiniBand, three 8-core PowerCenter servers — while a parallel Data Quality implementation burned on the other side of the building. Live demo a day early. Four of their consultants shadowed and took notes. Palantir calls it increasing the pain threshold. Informatica called me when the platform was on fire. I still go.

AI on operations

Not a slide. Private RTX 4070 lab: 1.39 tokens/sec CPU baseline to 37.47 after GPU routing, logged in SQLite. Four agents as four isolated Python processes — Systems, Architect, Synthesis, Validator — handing Pydantic JSON on local Ollama under WSL2. Dockroot-MCP so an agent sees Docker and the network without becoming host-root. Models accelerate. Unprepared manufacturing data still decides whether they land. AIP on a plant that has no ontology yet is the job I already ran under another name.

World-first Informatica Grid/HA plus disaster recovery on RHEL GFS: 20+ nodes across India, the UK, New York, and Chicago. I built DR for the app servers, the databases, and staging, then ran the US DR test. PepsiCo v9→v10 zero data loss. I do not throw a prototype over a wall. I leave a system the next shift can run — and a document with an owner on the cover so they are not guessing at 2 a.m.

Data + AI

Wrangling at scale

Teradata, Hadoop, AS/400 CDC, DB2 on mainframe, Redshift, SQL Server. Dawn’s journals. Navy Federal’s CDC. MOBE at 99.99% on Talend 8 with GitLab CI/CD. local_grid_suite benches decode and prefill in SQLite so a claim has a log. Agents get a bounded surface so they do not hallucinate a SKU into existence. Unbounded context is how a model invents a part the line does not make.

I have already done the embed: hear the floor, wrangle what exists, ship, measure, leave them running Tuesday.
